High Salary PF

Paul Millsap-Atlanta Hawks (8,100): Millsap gets a great matchup tonight against the Rockets who have allowed more fantasy points to opposing PF than any other team in the NBA this season. Millsap had 22 points and 13 rebounds along with five blocks, four assists, and a steal against them. Millsap is also coming off a strong game when he posted 40.2 fantasy points against the Nuggets on 16 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and four blocks.  When he’s at his best, Millsap contributes across all the categories, and he should be able to be at his best at home in a favorable matchup tonight.

LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (7,800): LA has emerged as a great go-to option for the Spurs on offense averaging 24 points and 9.3 rebounds over his last nine games while also chipping in 1.8 assists, and 1.2 blocks per games. He’s a little higher risk than normal since the Spurs have yet to unveil their plan for keeping up with Golden State’s small-ball attack.  When the two teams met earlier this season, Aldridge played just 25 minutes with five points, three rebounds, and two blocks.  He should be over those numbers tonight in a more competitive game, but Coach Popovich may not show all his cards tonight in a preview to what should be a great Western Conference Finals.

Thaddeus Young-Brooklyn Nets (7,700): Young’s price is on the rise after three straight double-doubles and four games in a row with over 35 fantasy points. He had 42.3 fantasy points against Chicago on Thursday after a massive 49.2 fantasy points against the Sixers earlier in the week.  Tonight, he’s in a tougher matchup against the Pistons but he should still be able to generate a double-double and be a solid play at his sub-8k price.

Tobias Harris-Detroit Pistons (6,000): Harris will be one of the Pistons trying to slow down Young tonight. Last night, Harris had 17 points and five rebounds for 26.5 fantasy points against the Kings giving him at least that many in nine of his last ten games. Harris has been a great fit for the Pistons since they acquired him from the Magic at the trade deadline, and he’s become a nightly option since he’s right around 30 fantasy points almost every night.
