High Salary SG

Khris Middleton-Milwaukee Bucks (6,800): There aren’t many high-end SG options tonight on the limited slate. In fact, Middleton is the only option over 6K tonight.  He’s in a tough matchup against Utah who has been shutting down opposing SG all season, so proceed with caution if you decide to go with him. He also comes in off a pair of bad games in which he only managed a total of 43 fantasy points after putting up at least that many in each of his previous three games.  He’ll look to get back to producing 40+ fantasy points tonight against the Jazz, but he’s a high-risk play even though he’ll probably be pretty owned due to the limited alternatives.

Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (5,800): Hood is under 6K even though he’s the second-most expensive play of the night.  He looked great against the Cavs on Monday scoring 28 points and 33 fantasy points while helping the Jazz to a surprise win over LeBron and company, but he has struggled in his two games since with just eight points in 30 minutes against the Suns and 14 points last night against the Bulls.  He definitely has the potential to go off, but with Gordon Hayward back, Hood doesn’t have quite as many shot attempts as he did last Monday as Hayward battled through a bad back..

Evan Turner-Boston Celtics (5,500): Turner returns to Phily tonight as the Celtics try to turn things around dropping four straight and sliding to the sixth-seed in the Eastern Conference.  Turner started on Friday against the Raptors but only managed 24.25 fantasy points in 31 minutes on 12 points, five rebounds, two steals, and two assists.  He was expected to step up after the injury to Jae Crowder but had two underwhelming games against the Pacers and Thunder.  Maybe taking on his former team will help Turner get his game back in gear. When he’s at his best he’s a multi-category contributor who can give you good points, rebounds, and assists.  Boston needs him to be that again tonight as they look to pick up a suddenly very important win on the road against the Sixers.
