FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 20
High Value SG
J.J. Redick-Los Angeles Clippers (4,800): Redick scored in single digits last night of the first time in 19 games. He was coming off a monster game on Wednesday when he scored 25 points, but couldn’t get his shot falling last night in Memphis. Tonight, he’ll be in a good place to bounce back, though, in a great matchup agains thee Pelicans who have allowed the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG so far this season. Redick usually doesn’t have enough non-scoring stats to be an elite option, but his matchup and his ability to pile up points make him worth his sub-5K salary. ∗∗
Nik Stauskas-Philadelphia 76ers (4,100): At the beginning of the season, “Sauce Castillo” was a cheap option that was everyone’s DFS go-to if you had to save salary at SG. He disappeared for a while in the middle of the season, but lately he has re-entered there rotation and produced some solid games for the Sixers. He has double-digit scoring in for of his last five games including his 23-point performance against the Thunder on Friday. Stauskas had 36.3 fantasy points in that contest and has at least 25 fantasy points in three of his last four. He’s not in a great matchup against the Boston backcourt, but he is still one of the better cheap fliers tonight at a position where good options are few. ∗∗∗
James Anderson-Sacramento Kings (3,600): Anderson has brought some nice defensive intensity to the Kings SG spot while picking up a pair of starts in his last two games due to an injury to Ben McLemore. Anderson played 34 minutes in his first start on Wednesday and had 17 points and 24.3 fantasy points. He followed that up with a solid 16.4 fantasy points on ten points and two boards against the Pistons in 29 minutes. If he continues to get close to 30 minutes, Anderson will be a solid cheap flier tonight as the Kings take on the Knicks. ∗
