High Salary SG

James Harden-Houston Rockets (10,400): The single biggest storyline to watch leading up to tonight’s games is the availability of James Harden.  If Harden can go against the Thunder, he’ll be a good play since he always brings his A-game against his former team.  He is averaging 35 points, six boards, five assists, and 2.5 steals against OKC in his first two meetings with them this season, and if he can be near 100% you know he’ll keep trying to carry his new team to the playoffs.  Harden has been playing huge minutes for Houston in their playoff push, and he “seemed expected to play” according to the beat writers that cover the team. I think he’ll go, but hopefully we get final word before 7:30. He’s too risky to put in your lineup if you’re not following up, but if you are he has enough upside to consider playing him at over 10K. If confirmed playing-∗ If status uncertain-stay away

Jrue Holiday-New Orleans Pelicans (7,700): Holiday will be the focus of the New Orleans offense at least in the short term and possibly for the rest of the season with Anthony Davis out and Ryan Anderson rumored to also be in danger of being shut down. Holiday has posted at least 35 fantasy points in each of his last two games and in six of his last nine contests.  He had 22 points and eight assists against the Clippers for 35.4 fantasy points, and he’ll almost certainly get his production in every game that isn’t a blowout the rest of the season.  Holiday will need his teammates to step up to help him keep things close against Miami tonight, but since they’re at home they should keep things competitive enough to give Holiday his full workload of minutes.

Dwyane Wade-Miami Heat (7,200): While Holiday has all the offensive responsibility, the Pelicans have been giving up the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG. D-Wade will be in a place to attack that matchup tonight coming off of 24 points in 28 minutes on Saturday against Miami.  He had 34.8 fantasy points in that contest, and he should be able to produce a similar number tonight if the game stays close and he played 30+ minutes.
