1. Denver Broncos

This one makes the most sense. The Denver Broncos would be foolish not to consider trading for Colin Kaepernick for one reason, Mark Sanchez. There is no way to sell Sanchez as the guy to a fan base that just saw Peyton Manning retire and his understudy, Brock Osweiler, bolt for the Houston Texans.

Sanchez is one of those guys who does just enough to make you think he’s turned a corner, then he throws to the wrong team. A lot.

Of course, some will buy the narrative that the Broncos defense is good enough to win no matter who is under center. But those could be the same people who said Chip Kelly’s system was quarterback-proof, and then Sanchez played in it.

Kaepernick is a superior football player to Sanchez and he would fit nicely in head coach Gary Kubiak’s system. The run-heavy offense Kubiak runs sees quarterbacks rolling out often on play-action passes. This is where Colin is at his best.

He was magical against the Green Bay Packers during the Niners’ Super Bowl run when he ran for 181 yards and was unstoppable. Whenever the Pack tried to contain him, he threw it deep. Receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas would benefit greatly from his big arm, especially after a play-action catches a defender napping.

This is by far the best spot for the player as well as the team.
