High Salary C

Pau Gasol-Chicago Bulls (9,400): Gasol returned from a four-game absence on Monday against Boogie Cousins and the Kings and made an impact in his 25 minutes with 14 points, 14 boards, three assists, and three blocks for 43.3 fantasy points. If his minutes restriction is lifted tonight against New York, he had the potential to go off with an even bigger game giving him a ton of upside if you can fit his bulky salary under your salary cap.

Karl-Anthony Towns-Minnesota Timberwolves (8,800): Towns has five straight double-doubles and at least 30 fantasy points in nine on his last ten as he continues to show impressive consistency for a rookie big man.  He could end up with a matchup against his fellow-rookie and former-college-teammate Willie Cauley-Stein if DeMarcus Cousins is unable to go tonight for Sacramento. Towns is averaging over 20 points and over ten rebounds in his team games in March, and he should dominate either Boogie or Cauley-Stien tonight in a very winnable game for the T-Wolves at home.

Andre Drummond-Detroit Pistons (7,700): Drummond made the game-winner agains the Bucks on Monday and finished with 14 points and 16 rebounds for 35.2 fantasy points. He has double-doubles in seven of his 11 games in March and is averaging 14.7 points and 14.1 rebounds during that timespan. He’s in a tasty matchup tonight against the Magic who don’t have Nikola Vucevic to start opposite Drummond and will have to go with Dewayne Dedmon or Jason Smith as they try to slow down the Drum. Drummond’s price is under 8K which is nice considering that he has at least 35 fantasy points in seven of his last ten games.

Al Horford-Atlanta Hawks (7,400): While he isn’t the brute force down low that Drummond is, Horford has been very productive in his own way recently with over 38 fantasy points in four of his last six contests including a very nice 45.3 fantasy points against the Wizards on Monday. He had 14 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists in that game, and he’ll look to again take advantage of that good matchup tonight as the two teams finish the home-and-home in Washington.

Robin Lopez-New York Knicks (6,000): Lopez is again a boom-or-bust play tonight as he tangles with Gasol and the Bulls who have been one of the worst teams in the league defending opposing centers. Lopez has had some monster games like his 51 fantasy points against the Kings on Sunday when he went off for 23 points and 20 boards, but he also disappears in some games like the three games in his last ten when he has finished with under 12 fantasy points. He has crazy upside at this price, but he will make or break your lineup depending on if he shows tonight in Chicago.
