FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 23
High Value C
Bismack Biyombo-Toronto Raptors (5,700): My guess is that Jonas Valanciunas will return to the court tonight for the Raptors, but I still like Biyombo as a decent play against Boston. He had played very well while Valanciunas has been absent with over 33 fantasy points in three of his last four games. Even though he won’t log over 35 minutes if “Big V” is back in the middle, Biyombo gets blocks and rebounds at a good enough rate that he should still be able to get 25+ fantasy points tonight against Boston. With Valanciunas-∗∗ No Valanciunas-∗∗∗∗
Tyson Chandler-Phoenix Suns (4,400): Chandler burnt his owners on Monday playing just 12 minutes against the Grizz before leaving with back spasms after turning in only 7.2 fantasy points. If he’s able to get back on the floor tonight, Chandler is in a great matchup against the Lakers who he just crushed for 12 points, 17 rebounds, and 38,9 fantasy points in their matchup last Friday. Right now, he’s considered questionable, but he’ll be a boom-or-bust play if the Suns give him the green light to return to the lineup tonight.∗
Jusuf Nurkic-Denver Nuggets (4,100): Nurkic may have had his biggest moment in the NBA spotlight when he stared down LeBron James on Monday, but his fantasy owners are more interested in the fact that he played 26 minutes and seems to be finally over some of his injuries that have plagued him all season. Nurkic has scored in double digits in each of his last four games and has played 18 minutes or more in each of those contests. He has 23 fantasy points or more in three of those four games, and he’s in a tasty matchup against the 76ers who allow more fantasy points to opposing centers than any other team in the league. He’s still a bit of a gamble, but his upside at this price is huge especially given the matchup tonight. ∗∗
