12. Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys

For as much heat as Romo takes in Dallas, he’s been a consistently good quarterback for a very long time. However, a few concerns are quickly catching up with Romo.

Romo is comfortably a top 10 quarterback when he’s on the field and is more than good enough to lead the Cowboys to a Super Bowl. Still, there may only a couple of years left in the tank for the 35-year-old, and who knows how well Romo will recover from his third broken collarbone.

Dallas struggled as a whole in 2015, and Romo had seven interceptions to just five touchdowns in the four games he was able to play in before suffering the injury. While that’s a little concerning for the Cowboys, Romo was brilliant in 2014, posting a career-high quarterback rating of 113.2.

Romo can be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL behind Dallas’ outstanding offensive line with Dez Bryant to throw to. There are rumors that Dallas could draft Romo’s long-term replacement with the fourth overall pick, but it would be wiser to use that pick to upgrade the defense and remain in win-now mode.

If the third broken collarbone proves to be too much for Romo, the Cowboys’ quarterback situation will become a major problem quickly. With Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassel gone, Kellen Moore is slated to be Romo’s backup in 2016.
