211.
The Grizzlies don’t have a backup for Marc Gasol under contract for the 2016-17 season, so they can use their first round pick here to select a big man with nice upside in Maryland’s Diamond Stone.

At 7-0 tall and nearly 250 pounds, Stone is a load at the college level. His physical size is imposing on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Stone is a typical back-to-the-basket big, although he doesn’t have a fully developed post game yet, and collects the majority of his points as a recipient in pick-and-roll or dump-off situations. Defensively, Stone posted the third best block rate in the Big 10, turning away 8.4 percent of opponents’ field goal attempts, slightly better than his 7.4 percent rate overall.

Stone has yet to deliver a breakout performance in the NCAA Tournament. In both games so far, he has dealt with foul trouble, a consistent problem for him this season. However, Stone will have an opportunity to make a big impression during the Sweet Sixteen as the Terrapins face a Kansas team that many consider to be the national title favorite. If he can perform well there, it wouldn’t be surprising to see his stock rise going forward.
