The Daredevil actor wants to bring the character to the big screen.

Marvel has taken over television and the big screen over the years. The Disney-owned company has thrived thanks to their Avengers franchise and could win the jackpot with Captain America: Civil War.

Another key reason for Marvel’s success is due to its TV deals, specifically with Netflix. There are plans for a Defenders series to launch, thanks in large part to their current format.

Daredevil arrived first, and it is has been a phenomenal program. Charlie Cox has done a brilliant job portraying the “Man Without Fear,” and the supporting cast is not too shabby. With the success of this series and Jessica Jones, many are wondering if the characters can make it into the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Cox happens to be one of those people.

In an interview with IGN, Charlie Cox said he was hoping to be involved in the extended universe, stating:

"I’d love to see Daredevil back on the big screen again."

Already on its second season, Daredevil has become a commercial hit. As I mentioned before, Cox is the perfect person to play the blind lawyer from Hell’s Kitchen. It would be very cool to see his portrayal of Daredevil on the big screen next to Captain America. Cox went on to say he was unsure if it would actually happen, but he seemed optimistic. In regards to the possibility, Cox stated:

"No idea. Literally no idea. I really don’t know whether Marvel Studios and Marvel TV – whether that crossover could happen. I know it happened in other shows – I know it’s happened in Agents of SHIELD and of course Agent Carter – but I have no idea… I’m not privy to those conversations."

Marvel has done a great job at mixing their programs to fit their entire universe. Even though Arrow and Flash are doing great, DC has stated that they won’t mix their television programs with their films. Marvel would have another great advantage if this dream could become a reality. It would also help fans forget about the previous Daredevil film a few years ago.

Let’s hope that Marvel can one day make this a reality. It would make for one entertaining film experience.
