High Salary SG

James Harden-Houston Rockets (10,400): With the Rockets in a playoff race, James Harden has had to take his game to new do-it-all levels of production.  He has over 64 fantasy points in each of his last two games while playing over 40 minutes on back-to-back nights after he missed practice with a foot injury. “The Beard” couldn’t quite carry his team to victory on Wednesday against the Jazz despite 26 points, ten assists, eight steals, and seven rebounds, but his fantasy owners got plenty of W’s with that line of production.  Tonight, he and the Rockets welcome in the Raptors who may or may not have former-Rocket Kyle Lowry, but either way the current Rockets will again look to Harden to carry the offensive load tonight making him one of the best expensive plays on the board tonight.

Klay Thompson-Golden State Warriors (6,800): Thompson lit up the Mavericks last Friday in Dallas dropping 39 points against them to go with six rebounds on his way to 59 fantasy points. He had another game with over 45 fantasy points on Wednesday with 32 points against the Clippers.  He has at least 24 fantasy points in each of his last five with the potential for much more depending on the game flow and if his shot is dropping. Against Dallas this season, Klay is averaging 31.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 0.7 steals.  He will look to continue his dominance over Dallas tonight, and I think he’s one of the better SG options to take a look at. ∗∗

Devin Booker-Phoenix Suns (6,600): Booker is still starting in Phoenix alongside Brandon Knight, and with Knight still knocking the rust off his shot, Booker has continued to be very involved in the Suns’ attack.  He has posted at least 37 fantasy points in six of his last nine contests and dropped 45.75 fantasy points on Wednesday against the Lakers.  He’ll have another great matchup tonight agains the Kings who allow the fifth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG. As he wraps up his rookie campaign, the 19-year old has definitely shown enough upside to be a big part of the Suns’ future, and he’ll look to keep that roll going tonight against the Kings.

Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,400): Wiggins is in a great matchup against the Wizards who have struggled defending opposing SF all season.  Wiggins is playing a ton of minutes for the Wolves as they come down the stretch and has at least 30 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games.  Since he slid to SF to make room for Zach LaVine, Wiggins has picked up his non-scoring production and is actually a pretty solid play on a nightly basis now as Minnesota looks to bet ready to take the leap to the next level with their stockpile of talented young players. ∗∗

Zach LaVine-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,000): Lavine has been another regular DFS go-to in the second half of the season since a big breakout around the All Star break.  LaVine had 23 points against the Kings on Wednesday but struggled with six turnovers to end up with just 28 fantasy points as well. He should be able to bounce back tonight against the Wizards as he continues to play huge minutes for Minnesota.
