High Value SF

Tony Allen-Memphis Grizzlies (4,700): Allen and the Grizz take on the Spurs tonight who are resting Kawhi Leonard, Patty Mills, and Danny Green. Allen will have a  much easier time against Kyle Anderson and Jonathon Simmons making this much less of a matchup to avoid.  Allen has been playing a big role for the Grizzlies since their rash of injuries and has at least 23 fantasy points in four straight.  He had 27 points on his way to 39 fantasy points against the Lakers on Tuesday, and he will look to continue his production tonight.  Given his multi-category production and current role, he’s a low-risk play with the Spurs’ depleted lineup tonight.

Michael Beasley-Houston Rockets (4,500): The Beasley hype-train has slowed to a crawl in the last few games and he’s totaled just 29 fantasy points in those two games against the Thunder and Jazz. He had run off four straight games with at least 27 fantasy points in each game before those two down contests and was quickly climbing in salary as a result.  Beasley is in a pretty good matchup tonight against the Raptors who have questions ag both SF an PF which could allow Beasley to return to his prior levels of production. He’s a solid play tonight although there’s definitely still a risk factor as well.

Thabo Sefolosha-Atlanta Hawks (3,900): Sefolosha has posted at least 21 fantasy points in six of his last seven contests and is getting more playing time lately while Kent Bazemore nurses a bruised knee.  Sefolosha logged 25 minutes or more on five of those seven contests and he should se similar court time tonight against the wings of the Bucks.  He doesn’t have immense upside like Beasley, but he does offer solid production from a cheap price point.

Kyle Anderson-San Antonio Spurs (3,000): Anderson is sure to be a popular option as a sleeper tonight since he’ll likely start in place of Kawhi Leonard. Anderson hasn’t had 20 fantasy points in any of his last seven games, but he has been playing a small role coming off the bench. With a jump to the starting lineup, he’ll have a good shot to produce tonight against the Grizzlies, but I think he’s a high-risk play that is going to get more credit just because he’s with a team we all know so well. He’s usable, but he isn’t a “must-play” in my opinion.
