FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 25
High Salary C
DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (11,000): Boogie is back tonight against the Suns after taking a day off to rest his bruised knee on Wednesday. He had four straight double-doubles before his rest day and hardly ever falls short of 45 fantasy points. He’s a very low-risk investment since his “down” games are still in the 40’s and he should have success down low tonight against Phoenix who he only played 27 minutes against in their meeting earlier this season but still had 32 points, nine rebounds, two steals, and a block. With a heavier workload, he’s a spendy but solid option tonight. ∗∗∗
Hassan Whiteside-Miami Heat (8,200): Since the Magic are still without Nikola Vucevic up front, they’ll struggle with the size of Hassan down low, and Whiteside could be in for monster game if he keeps getting 30+ minutes off the bench. Whiteside has double-double in nine of his last ten game with at last two blocks in eight of those contests. He regularly reaches 40 fantasy points and I think he has the potential for much more given his mismatch tonight. ∗∗∗
Andre Drummond-Detroit Pistons (8,000): Drummond just took advantage of the same matchup that Whiteside will be in tonight to score 30 points to go with 14 rebounds and two blocks for 51.3 fantasy points. He is almost a double-double lock, and he’ll be extra motivated against Charlotte tonight as he looks to erase a really down game against the Hornets earlier this month where foul trouble limited him to just nine rebounds and five points. ∗∗
Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (6,200): Jokic has picked up more regular minutes with Kenneth Faried out and has now managed at least 22 minutes in seven of his last eight games. In those seven contests, he has reached 32 fantasy points in five including on Wednesday when he totaled 36.1 fantasy points on 18 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Tonight, he’ll face the Lakers who give up a ton of fantasy points to opposing centers ad have been among the worst in that category all season (currently fifth-worst). As long as foul trouble doesn’t rear its ugly head, Jokic should be a good play at this price tonight. ∗∗∗
