High Salary SF

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (9,900): Antetokounmpo is really the only mega-star in the SF pool tonight with LeBron, Melo, and Paul George playing last night and Kawhi Leonard getting the night off for rest.  “The Alphabet” had “only” 40.2 fantasy points on Wednesday against Cleveland on 24 points, six rebounds, and six assists, to go with a block and two turnovers.  He has been extremely efficient while helping Milwaukee run nthe point and has stepped his scoring up this month as well.  He has at least 40 fantasy points in five of his last six games including an explosion of 71.2 fantasy points against the Nets last Sunday. He can go for a monster triple-double pretty much any night, and he has posted a double-double in each of his two meetings with theHawks this season.  He had 28 points and 16 boards in the teams’ first meeting of the season and followed that up with 19 points and 12 boards in their second game.  Both of those games were Milwaukee wins, and he’ll look to lead his team to victory again tonight as a very solid play if you can afford his nearly 10K salary.

Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (7,700): Batum had an unusually empty stat line against the Nets on Tuesday with 23 points but just two rebounds and two assists. Normally, one of the things that makes Batum a solid option is he chips in good non-scoring numbers, but the’ve been strangely down in three of his last four games.  Tonight, he’ll need to bring his best in an important game for the Hornets as they hit the Motor City.  Batum is one of the few mid-range plays that makes sense although his recent trends would indicate he’s a little over-priced.

Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,900): Wiggins is in a great matchup against the Wizards who have struggled defending opposing SF all season.  Wiggins is playing a ton of minutes for the Wolves as they come down the stretch and has at least 30 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games.  Since he slid to SF to make room for Zach LaVine, Wiggins has picked up his non-scoring production and is actually a pretty solid play on a nightly basis now as Minnesota looks to bet ready to take the leap to the next level with their stockpile of talented young players.
