High Value SF

Marcus Morris-Detroit Pistons (5,500): Morris and the Pistons host Batum and the Hornets in an important game tonight for both teams playoff position. Morris and Tobias Harris should have good opportunities since the Hornets play a little smaller at the two forward spots.  Morris has been rolling lately with at least 14 points in four of his last five games and over 20 fantasy points in each of those contests at well. Morris has played over 37 minutes in each of those four games and continues to be a very nice addition to the Pistons after the acquired him from the Suns this offseason.

Otto Porter-Washington Wizards (5,000): Porter is a solid option tonight as well as he continues to re-emerge after battling injury much of the year.  He has scored in double-digits in each of his last six games and has at least 25 fantasy points in five of his last seven contests.  He did only managed 17.2 fantasy points against the Hawks in a losing effort on Wednesday, but he did get a very nice game with 38.5 fantasy points on a double-double against Atlanta in the first part of the home-and-home on Monday.

Michael Beasley-Houston Rockets (4,500): The Beasley hype-train has slowed to a crawl in the last few games and he’s totaled just 26 fantasy points in those two games against the Thunder and Jazz. He had run off four straight games with at least that many fantasy points in each game before those two down contests and was quickly climbing in salary as a result.  Beasley is in a pretty good matchup tonight against the Raptors who have questions ag both SF an PF which could allow Beasley to return to his prior levels of production. He’s a solid play tonight although there’s definitely still a risk factor as well.

Thabo Sefolosha-Atlanta Hawks (4,200): Sefolosha has posted at least 21 fantasy points in six of his last seven contests and is getting more playing time lately while Kent Bazemore nurses a bruised knee.  Sefolosha logged 25 minutes or more on five of those seven contests and he should se similar court time tonight against the wings of the Bucks.  He doesn’t have immense upside like Beasley, but he does offer solid production from a cheap price point.

Kyle Anderson-San Antonio Spurs (3,500): Anderson is sure to be a popular option as a sleeper tonight since he’ll likely start in place of Kawhi Leonard. Anderson hasn’t had 20 fantasy points in any of his last seven games, but he has been playing a small role coming off the bench. With a jump to the starting lineup, he’ll have a good shot to produce tonight against the Grizzlies, but I think he’s a high-risk play that is going to get more credit just because he’s with a team we all know so well. He’s usable, but he isn’t a “must-play” in my opinion.
