High Value PG

Toney Douglas-New Orleans Pelicans (5,400): Douglas has become a huge part of everything the Pelicans do on offense with so many injuries in their backcourt. Norris Cole is still out with a bad back and Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans lost for the season.  Jrue Holiday is also dealing with an injury which leaves plenty of time at the point for Douglas. He has at least 26 fantasy points in four straight games and six of his last eight including a 42-fantasy-point outburst against the Warriors and 34.9 fantasy points against the Clippers.  Tonight, he’ll face the Raptors in what would seem to be a tough matchup, but I still think Douglas is a great play since he’ll get plenty of chances at such an affordable price.

Elfrid Payton-Orlando Magic (5,400): Another solid play at 5.4K is Elfrid Payton who had 14 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists in his return to the lineup last night. He had a triple-double off the bench in his previous contest, so its obvious he can produce in multiple categories when he’s at his best.  Tonight, he’s in a great matchup against the Bulls who have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing PG this season. Payton has looked really good in his last two games, but his recent return form injury does make him a little high risk as he plays  for the third time in four nights.

Tim Frazier-New Orleans Pelicans (3,900): The other Pelicans’ guard getting plenty of playing time in his last five games has been Tim Frazier who has at least 18 fantasy points in each of those five games with over 25 fantasy points in three of those contests.  He is definitely behind Douglas in the pecking order in New Orleans but still worth a look especially if Holiday is out. With Holiday-∗ No Holiday-

Patrick Mills- San Antonio Spurs (3,800): Mills took a break last nigh against the Grizzlies, but he could get the start and a ton of minutes tonight against the Thunder since Tony Parker is expected to sit. Mills is an inconsistent option, but he definitely has some “boom” potential given the minutes he is expected to play.  He has at least 22 fantasy points in three of his last ten games and if he plays closer to 30 minutes tonight he could easily approach 30 fantasy points although there’s no guarantee he’ll have that time or that production even with no Parker.
