2. Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets have seen their championship window close in their faces before it was even opened in the past few years after moves to bring in veteran stars. The pressure and expectation from Mikhail Prokhorov to win right away in Brooklyn really set the franchise back, as they were only able to win one playoff series with their star-studded starting lineup.

Brook Lopez is the only remaining piece left from those teams, as the talented center has been able to stay healthy the past few seasons, and is producing. Lopez has emerged as one of the best centers in basketball, as he is extremely skilled offensively, and has improved at rebounding and blocking shots.

The Nets have paired Lopez with a talented forward in Thaddeus Young, but the point guard position is one that needs serious upgrading. After a season-ending injury to Jarrett Jack, the Nets have been using Donald Sloan and Shane Larkin at point guard, and neither should be a starting guard in the NBA.

Adding Rondo would help not only improve the play of Lopez and Young with his great passing ability, but it would also give them a massive upgrade at a position of need.
