#15 – Pepsi Center – Denver Nuggets

The Name: Pepsi is the drink of choice for contrarians too scared for Royal Crown Cola, and if this arena sponsorship was a drink size, it would be extra medium. If the name of the Nuggets’ arena is something you know offhand, I implore you to forget it as soon as possible. Go fall in love instead. Life is too short. 5/10

The Aesthetics: The court design is audacious, with pickaxes inside the arcs and a mountain range on the sideline. Otherwise, the Pepsi Center is about as noticeable as a plain white sheet of paper. This stadium is like Original Goldfish. Not Cheddar. Just a cracker. It’s a needless tomato soup addition.

The Experience: From a convenience and comfort standpoint the Pepsi Center is ideal, with good parking, reasonable food prices and comfortable seating. From an energy standpoint, the Nuggets have the lowest attendance in the NBA this year, averaging 14,046 tickets per game.

Overview: I guarantee that you don’t mind where I have the Pepsi Center ranked. This is a building with things inside it.
