High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,300): Coming off a big 31-point, ten-rebound double-double on Saturday, Durant heads to Toronto as the Thunder face the Raptors. Durant has at least 42 fantasy points in five of his last six games and continues to score 20+ points every night with solid peripherals.  He takes on the Raptors tonight who still are waiting for DeMarre Carroll to return to solidify their SF spot and are using several defensively inferior options to fill in while he’s out. If Durant and the Thunder want to make a statement tonight, they could be in for a big game north of the border in Toronto.

Carmelo Anthony-New York Knicks (8,700): Melo and the Knicks should be able to put up good numbers against the Pelicans injury-depleted lineup tonight in the Big Easy. Anthony comes into tonight’s game with some momentum as a result of over 40 fantasy points in each of his last two and at least 20 points in eight of his last nine.

Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (7,000): Hayward is helping the Jazz battle for the playoffs, and they can move to .500 with a win tonight over the Lakers. Earlier this season, Hayward played against the Lakers twice averaging 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1.0 steals.  He struggled on Thursday as Utah was routed by the Thunder, but has been solid aside from that outing since returning from a foot injury that cost him two games. Hayward can definitely produce at a high level when he’s at his best, and he’ll be in a good place to reach that level tonight against the Lakers who allow the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF.

Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,600): Wiggins struggled with the rest of the T-Wolves on Saturday, but he has at least 28 fantasy points in the four games before that and hung 34.8 fantasy points on the Suns two weeks ago. He has been more productive in non-scoring categories since sliding to the SF spot to make room for Zach LaVine.

Evan Turner-Boston Celtics (6,200): Turner has been a huge part of Boston’s  four-game turnaround after skidding down the Eastern Conference standings after losing Jae Crowder.  Turner has stalled into the starting lineup for Boston’s last five games and played over 30 minutes in each of those games while averaging 15.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 0.8 blocks, and 0.8 steals.  He had a solid double-double against the Suns on Saturday and has at least 33 fantasy points in three of his last four games.  He’s a good play tonight against the Clippers as Boston looks to continue pushing for a better playoff seed. When the Celtics played LA earlier this season, Turner had 14 points, six rebounds, and six assists coming off the bench.
