Joe Johnson-Miami Heat (5,100): Johnson takes on his former team from Brooklyn tonight as the Heat face the Nets. Johnson started the season with Brooklyn before negotiating a buyout and joining Miami at the end of February. He has been a bit down lately after a strong start to his time in Miami, but he should be motivated tonight as he takes on his former team making him a nice boom-or-bust play in a good matchup. ∗

Al-Farouq Aminu-Portland Trail Blazers (4,900): Aminu has been a do-it-all SF for the Blazers but hasn’t had a ton of fantasy production for much of the season.  Recently, though, he’s started to produce some good stat lines including in his last game when he scored 20 points to go with eight rebounds against the 76ers. Aminu has at least 24 fantasy points in three of his last four which is enough to get him some attention in the value SF table tonight where there aren’t a ton of options. ∗∗

P.J. Tucker-Phoenix Suns (4,800): Tucker has held off multiple challenges to his playing time and continues to get solid run in the Phoenix rotation as the “heart” of the team according to interim head coach Earl Watson.  Tucker has also been productive lately with at least 30 fantasy points in four of his last seven games.  His best game during that stretch came against tonight’s opponent, the Timberwolves.  In that contest, he exploded for 23 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists for 46.9 fantasy points. Tucker has the potential for a similar line tonight although he does sometimes play lots of empty minutes in his down games. ∗∗∗∗

Kent Bazemore-Atlanta Hawks (4,200): Bazemore’s minutes and production have been uneven over the past few weeks as he’s battled a sore knee, but he played 33 minutes on Saturday and scored 17 points looking back to full strength.  He finished that contest with 27.8 fantasy points, and if he truly is past his knee issues he should have be able to return another solid night of production at this price point tonight against the defensively-challenged Bulls.∗∗∗

Maurice Harkless-Portland Trail Blazers (4,000): Portland has moved Harkless into the starting lineup at PF for his last three games, and he has played well in place of Noah Vonleh.  Harkless has scored in double-digits in all three of those games with some good rebounding and defensive numbers to get to 25.8 fantasy points, 22.1 fantasy points, and 30.1 fantasy points. He could have a little bit of trouble with the size of the Kings tonight, but if he’s on the floor, Harkless should find room to get his fantasy points since the Kings have allowed more fantasy points to opposing PF than any other team in the NBA over their last five games and the sixth-most this season.
