Paxton Lynch. 15. player. 51.
This is too early for Paxton Lynch and I know it.

Los Angeles can’t possibly enter the 2016 season with Case Keenum as the starting quarterback and expect to be taken seriously, especially in year one in a new city and a new building. That is exactly where the Rams are right now, though, and even with the fact that Lynch isn’t (at all) ready to begin the season as a starter, his presence would at least assuage the fan base and provide something to look forward to at the position.

With all of that out there, the Rams would be a prime trade target in either direction. There is an argument to be made that the team needs to try to move up to snatch either Goff or Wentz in the top five picks, but that would take a lot of ammunition and we don’t know if Jeff Fisher and the front office are willing to fire away. Moving down might be the best path, as that would allow them to target Lynch or another quarterback (Connor Cook?) in a more reasonable range while tempering expectations.

If they stay here and do not take a quarterback, look for the Rams to prioritize the wide receiver position, but Lynch would be my pick if they stay put. The upside is there and Los Angeles needs a quarterback in the worst way.
. QB. Memphis
