17. player. 44.
Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn can’t stop talking about how “fast and physical” he wants his defense to be. The Falcons have had issues at the linebacker spot for multiple years now, and while they have some adequate role players in the fold at the position, Atlanta does not have anyone that can change the game with sideline to sideline speed and aggressiveness.

They would be picking up that player in Darron Lee.

Lee was arguably the biggest winner at the NFL combine, wowing executives with a 4.47 40-yard dash time and pure explosiveness in drills. While at Ohio State, he was a physical force at times, and while he is probably a step behind Myles Jack in this class at outside linebacker, Lee is certainly worth the investment of a mid-tier first round selection in 2016.

Atlanta could also be in the mix for an additional pass-rusher (on the opposite side of 2015 first round pick Vic Beasley) or, potentially, an upgrade on the offensive side of the ball. Still, the Falcons absolutely need talent in the back seven defensively for Quinn to exercise everything that he put to use while serving as the defensive coordinator in Seattle. Darron Lee would fit beautifully from day one.
. LB. Ohio State. Darron Lee
