Joey Bosa. 4. player. 123.
Joey Bosa is the best player in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Joey Bosa should not be available at number four overall.

He is in this scenario.

The three statements above, in totality, represent the reasons why Dallas should take the former Ohio State standout. Beyond those simple facts, though, Bosa represents a very nice fit for the Cowboys given that the team is reportedly set to move on from Greg Hardy (finally) and facing the return of Tony Romo to invigorate their woeful offense from 2015. At Ohio State, Bosa displayed the top-end talent needed to stop the run effectively at more than 270 pounds combined with the ability to rush the passer with consistency and diversity.

Players like UCLA linebacker Myles Jack or Oregon defensive lineman DeForest Buckner (if he represents a personal preference for Jerry Jones and company) would make some sense, and the Cowboys need to upgrade their defense. Taking Bosa is the surest and fastest way to do that, though, and the folks from Irving would likely be thrilled to stay put and end up with the top overall prospect in the minds of many scouts.
.
