I really believe Baltimore is a perfect trade target for one of the squads looking to move up in search of a quarterback. The Ravens have a few roster issues, their management has signaled a willingness to pick up extra picks to take more chances and there isn’t a perfect pick on the board for Baltimore. With that said, they have to make a pick in this scenario and Ronnie Stanley is that guy.

Baltimore does need an upgrade at left tackle, as the Eugene Monroe experiment hasn’t gone particularly well since he arrived. Monroe is a very nice option at another spot, but he isn’t an elite pass blocker by any means, and that happens to be the strength of Stanley, who could protect Joe Flacco for the long term.

While at Notre Dame, Stanley didn’t always dominate, but he did present elite skills in the passing game. He is quite big (6-foot-6 and more than 310 pounds) and light on his feet, allowing him to showcase strong fundamentals in deterring the pass rush, and most scouts see him as a legitimate top-10 talent.

During our last mock draft, we visited the possibility that Ezekiel Elliott could enter the discussion and, candidly, the Ravens could do a number of things here. However, Stanley combines fit and talent in a way that Elliott and others can’t match. He’s the choice.
. OT. Notre Dame. Ronnie Stanley. 6. player. 26
