Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams swatted Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry’s shot right out of play.

The Toronto Raptors and Oklahoma City Thunder are two teams trying to show that they should be considered in the elite of their respective conferences and both teams have aspirations of reaching the NBA Finals this season. While they’ll have to show that they’re worthy in the playoffs, both teams have been going all out against each other on Monday night.

As Kyle Lowry went to drive on the Thunder defense and come up with a layup for the Raptors, Thunder center Steven Adams was there to remind Lowry just who controls the interior. As Lowry went up, Adams went up even higher and blocked Lowry’s shot away.

That might be an understatement, as he put everything that he had into the swat and sent it full speed into the crowd. After the monster block, Adams walked around with a menacing stare on his face and with the killer mustache that he has, the stare sue was menacing enough.

Lowry’s never been one to back away from taking on centers, but sometimes it always isn’t he best move to make.
