High Salary C

Andre Drummond-Detroit Pistons (7,800): Drummond has three straight games with at least 43 fantasy points as he steps up his production to help the Pistons coming down the stretch. He has at least 14 rebounds and 14 points in each of his last four games, and he will look to keep things rolling against the solid big-men of the Thunder. OKC has allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points to opposing centers this season and they managed to hold Drummond to 15 points and even rebounds in their earlier meeting this season. I don’t think they’l be able to keep Drummond that much in check tonight, though, and I think Drummond’s current form makes him a solid play tonight even though the matchup does up the risk a bit.

Brook Lopez-Brooklyn Nets (7,300): Lopez played 35 minutes last night against Miami and had 31 fantasy points on 26 points and four rebounds.  He had at least 39 fantasy points in each if his three previous contests and continues to be the focus of the Brooklyn offense.  Tonight, he’ll be in a good matchup against the Magic who may get Nikola Vucevic back after a 12-game absence.  Whether Vucevic plays or not, Lopez is in a good matchup, so give him a look if you get scared off of Drummond by the matchup.

Marcin Gortat-Washington Wizards (6,600): Gortat has posted three straight double-doubles and has at least 36 fantasy points in each of those three outings. He is in a tricky matchup against the Warriors tonight who sometimes scheme the opponents’ center right off the floor. however, Gortat has been on enough of a roll lately that he’s the best midrange option tonight.∗∗
