High Salary Centers

Sidney Crosby – Pittsburgh Penguins ($8,100): Crosby is carrying the Penguins sans Evgeni Malkin with 23 points in 19 games without him in 2016. After his 12 game point streak came to an end against the Devils, he has a two-game point streak and looks to make it three tonight against the Sabres. Crosby has 32 goals, 46 assists, 78 points, 31 blocked shots, and 225 shots on goal this season. He has 48 points in 37 home games this season and he averages 4.2 fantasy hockey points per game.

Patrice Bergeron – Boston Bruins ($7,300): Bergeron has six points (three goals and three assists) over his last 10 games, but he also has 10 blocked shots and 36 shots on goal. On the season, the Bruins center has 29 goals, 34 assists, 63 points. 53 blocked shots, and 263 shots on goal. He has 30 points in 38 road games and he averages 4.1 fantasy hockey points per game.

Jason Spezza – Dallas Stars ($6,100): Spezza has taken over first line center duties from the injured Tyler Seguin. He has at least one point in seven of his last 10 games. Spezza has six goals, four assists, 10 points, and 34 shots on goal over his last 10 games. He has 29 goals, 28 assists, 57 points, 20 blocked shots, and 192 shots on goal in 70 games this season. Jason Spezza goes against the Predators tonight, a team that he has three points in two games against. He averages 3.6 fantasy hockey points per game.

High Value Centers

Vincent Trocheck – Florida Panthers ($5,500): Trocheck has been on fire recently for the Panthers. He has six goals, seven assists, 13 points, six blocked shots, and 26 shots on goal over his last 10 games. Trocheck has 53 points (25 goals and 28 assists) with 39 blocked shots and 171 shots on goal this season in 75 games. He averages 3.2 fantasy points per game (including 4.9 per game over his last 10 games).

Erik Haula – Minnesota Wild ($4,100): Holla at your boy Erik Haula because he has a seven-game point streak going and he’ll look to make it eight tonight against the Blackhawks, who he has five points against in four games. Haula has 31 points (12 goals and 19 assists), 51 blocked shots, and 86 shots on goal in 70 games this season. He averages two fantasy hockey points per game (including 3.6 per game over his last 10 games).

Paul Stastny – St. Louis Blues ($4,700): In his last seven games, Stastny has five multi-point outings. With 13 points (three goals and 10 assists) in his last 10 games, he’s a must start. The Blues center averages 2.7 fantasy points per game (including four per game over his last 10 games).
