High Value C

Enes Kanter-Oklahoma City Thunder (5,600): Kanter only played 20 minutes last night finishing with 18.8 fantasy points on seven points and nine rebounds.  It broke his string of nine straight games with at least 20 fantasy points, and he has even reached 30 fantasy points in five of his last ten.  Tonight, he’ll take on the Pistons in an odd matchup since he doesn’t have enough defense to slow down Andre Drummond.  I actually expect Steven Adams to get most of the minutes down low, but there’s always a chance that Kanter will chip in a quick double-double coming off the bench.

Ian Mahinmi-Indiana Packers (5,100): Mahinmi has at least 33 fantasy points in each of his last two games as he has taken it to the Nets and Rockets. He is playing big minutes in the middle for the Pacers and is averaging 12.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.0 steals in 31.4 minutes over his last five games. Tonight, he gets a really good matchup against the injury-depleted front line of the Bulls who he has averaged 8.7 points, and 9.3 rebounds against in his three games against this season. Look for Mahinmi to put up another strong line tonight in a very favorable matchup.

Steven Adams-Oklahoma City Thunder (4,400): For his price, I actually like Adams a big better than Kanter tonight given the need for his defense against Big Drum tonight. Adams has at least 20 fantasy points in four of his last six games including last night when he fell just a rebound short of a double-double on his way to 24.8 fantasy points. Adams doesn’t have the offensive upside of Kanter, but he is a better play for the money tonight.
