FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 29
High Value SF
Marcus Morris-Detroit Pistons (5,500): Morris has ripped off four straight games with at least 25 fantasy points after posting 13 points, five rebounds, and five assists against the Hawks on Saturday. He’s playing big minutes as Detroit makes its push to the playoffs, and he’ll need to step up once again tonight as the Thunder come to town. Morris had 17 points and four boards in the team’s earlier meeting this season and has been shooting the ball much better lately than he did that night. Look for another solid stat line from Morris who is a relatively safe option at SF tonight. ∗∗∗
Otto Porter-Washington Wizards (5,500): Porter has scored at least 14 points in four of his last five games and has had a nice resurgence after battling injury for much of the season. In his last nine games, Porter has seven games with at least 23 fantasy points including a pair of double-doubles which came in his last four games which resulted in over 33 fantasy points. Tonight, he’ll take on the small-balling Warriors in a run-and-gun special giving him high upside although he doesn’t have the stability and consistency that Morris offers. ∗∗
Hollis Thompson-Philadelphia 76ers (4,500): Thompson had a bad game his last time out when he and the Sixers played the Warriors managing only four points, four rebounds, and four assists in 33 minutes for 17.8 fantasy points. Thompson had scored in double digits in each of his previous seven contests, though, and had a least 21 fantasy points in six straight. Look for him to bounce back tonight against the Hornets although Robert Covington’s return could take some scoring responsibility away from Thompson.∗∗∗
Harrison Barnes-Golden State Warriors (4,200): Barnes has been getting plenty of minutes playing 30+ in each of his last ten games. His production has been all over the map hough with five games under 20 fantasy points and only one over 30 fantasy points during that ten-game span. He probably will give you something especially in a good matchup against the Wizards who struggle defending opposing SF, but he isn’t likely to go off for a huge number since he’s not a primary or even secondary option in the Golden State attack.∗
