Michael Conforto. 22. player. 3. . OF. New York Mets

The player who was taken six spots after Schwarber is one spot ahead of him in this countdown. For all the good young pitching the New York Mets have, they have a pretty good young outfielder in Michael Conforto.

Conforto played a part in helping the Mets offense go from one of the worst in the game during the first half of 2015 to one of the best down the stretch.

Conforto hit .270 in 56 games with nine homers and 26 RBI. He had an .841 OPS and posted a 138 OPS+.

In the World Series, he hit .333 with two homers and four RBI and hit a big homer during the division series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Mets shielded him against left-handed pitching last year. He only had 14 at bats against them last season and they could very well do that again with Yoenis Cespedes back and to give Juan Lagares playing time.

The Mets believe Conforto will be an everyday player and after watching him last season, there is no reason to think he can’t be. Look to see a lot of Conforto for the defending NL Champs in 2016 this season.
