High Value C

Nikola Jokic-Dnever Nuggets (5,900): While there aren’t a ton of expensive options at center for tonight, there are a few cheap plays that I really like.  Jokic had nine points and 14 boards last night against the Grizzlies for a total of 28.3 fantasy points and is a good play tonight against the injury-riddled Pelicans. New Orleans has allowed the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers this season, so if Jokic gets the minutes in the middle he should have a good stat line again tonight.

Enes Kanter-Oklahoma City Thunder (5,600): Kanter had 14 points and 14 boards against the Pistons on Tuesday getting a little extra run with Serge Ibaka taking the night off.  Kanter had 29.3 fantasy points in his 25 minutes giving him at least 28 fantasy points in six of his last ten.  With no DeAndre Jordan tonight, the Clippers should be vulnerable down low, and Kanter is the Thunder player who sometimes benefits the most if the second unit gets more run than usual.

Alexis Ajinca-New Orleans Pelicans (3,900): The Pelicans have been getting some solid minutes from Ajinca since they lost the rest of their roster to injury.  Last night, Ajinca played 32 minutes against the Spurs and finished with 18 points and nine rebounds for 27.8 fantasy points. He has over 21 fantasy points in three of his last four games and is a good cheap play against the Nuggets tonight.

Cole Aldrich-Los Angeles Clippers (3,500): Aldrich is the cheapest and best of all the sleeper-centers tonight as he should get the start in place of the resting DeAndre Jordan.  Aldrich’s numbers for March are pretty uninspiring–just 4.3 points and 4.3 rebounds, but he was excellent in two starts in January when he had 19 points and seven boards against the Heat and then 19 points and ten rebounds to go with three blocks, two steals, and two assists against the Kings. He won’t be a “sneaky” pick tonight since everyone will be jumping on him with DeAndre out, but he will be a pick that should return you value.
