High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,600): With Kevin Durant out on Tuesday, many of us expected to see the Russell Westbrook show in full force against the Pistons, but Russ struggled a big and finished with only 24 points, six assists, and four rebounds for 36.8 fantasy points. He had a run of  eight straight games with at least 40 fantasy points snapped in that contest and had posted three games of at least 48 fantasy points in three of his previous four.  Westbrook should be able to bounce back tonight at home against the Clippers who will rest CP3, DeAndre Jordan, and J.J. Redick.  The only risk with Russ is that he doesn’t play his usual minutes since the game could be a blowout early.

Isaiah Thomas-Boston Celtics (7,800): Thomas and the Celtics continue their Western Conference road trip as they travel from LA to Portland and take on the Blazers tonight.  Thomas had a rough game on Monday against the Clippers with just two assists and 24 points for only 27 fantasy points. Before that game, IT4 had run of four straight games of at least 34 fantasy points and I think he’ll bounce back with a good game against Damian Lillard and the Blazers tonight. Thomas is expected to get Jae Crowder back soon, and the Celtics will need both players to step up as they battle Miami for the fourth-seed in the East which comes with the benefit of home court advantage in the first round. ∗∗

Derrick Rose-Chicago Bulls (6,600): Rose has been playing through several injuries for most of the season and is now dealing with an elbow issue. He’s considered probable tonight, and has at least 30 fantasy points in four of his last six games. He had an impressive game Monday against the Hawks finishing with 20 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals, and a block on his way to 38.5 fantasy points, but he only managed eight points, four assists, and 15.2 fantasy points the following night in Indiana.
