FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 31
High Value SG
Will Barton-Denver Nuggets (5,400): There have been stretches this season where Barton looked like the best offensive option on the Nuggets, and he may be surging to the finish line of the season with just such a streak. He had a nice game last night with 25 points, six boards, three assists, and a block for 37.7 fantasy points against the Grizzlies. It gave him at least 26 fantasy points in four straight contests since he laid a total egg with just 6.3 fantasy points against the Sixers. Obviously with burns like that, there is risk in rolling Barton out there. However, he has the upside to produce big points in a great matchup tonight against the Pelicans. I really like Barton and will have him in my lineup, but definitely also be aware of the risk.∗∗
Jamal Crawford-Los Angeles Clippers (4,700): With the Clippers missing all of their original starting five tonight (CP3, JJ, Paul Pierce, Blake, and DeAndre), Crawford could be the main focus of the team’s offensive attack. Crawford has scored in double digits in six straight games and has at least 17 fantasy points in each of those outings. He doesn’t usually pile up non-scoring stats, but tonight he could be playing the point which usually boosts his assists. Crawford could end up getting rest as coach Doc Rivers relies on his bench tonight, or he could end up with a ton of work since he’ll be one of the few players with scoring ability available tonight. He’s a boom-or-bust play tonight against the Thunder. ∗∗∗
Sean Kilpatrick-Brooklyn Nets (3,800): Kilpatrick is a Crawford-like infusion of scoring for the Nets coming off the bench, and he’ll look to keep his momentum going tonight against the Cavs. Kilpatrick has at least ten points in each of his last ten games and usually chips in a few non-scoring stats as well. He has at least 15 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games, and he’l continue to be a good cheap option as long as he keeps getting 20+ minutes per game. ∗∗
Allen Crabbe-Portland Trail Blazers (3,700): Another bench option with fantasy upside is the Blazers’ Allen Crabbe who racked up 21 points in 21 minutes against the Kings on Monday and continues to be the Blazers first and best offensive weapon coming off the bench. ∗
