DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-April 1
High Salary C
Hassan Whiteside-Miami Heat (8,700): Whiteside has been phenomenal coming off the bench for the Heat and has at least 42 fantasy points in three straight games against the Magic, Nets, and Lakers. On Wednesday, Whiteside had 18 points, 17 boards, and seven blocks on his way to 53.25 fantasy points. Tonight, he’s in another good matchup against the Kings who won’t have DeMarcus Cousins. While Cousins isn’t a great defender himself, the Kings will be that much thinner up front leaving more work for Whiteside who should be on fire again tonight. ∗∗∗∗
Brook Lopez-Brooklyn Nets (7,000): Lopez rested last night, but he’s expected to be available tonight as he and the Nets take on his brother Robin Lopez and the Knicks. Brook has averaged 24.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.3 blocks in his three games against the Knicks this season, so as long as he’s fully healthy and cleared to play he’ll be a solid play at this price with the potential to go off for 50+ fantasy points if he has one of his better games. ∗∗
Nikola Vucevic-Orlando Magic (6,500): Vucevic missed 13 games with a groin injury, but he looked strong in his return last night scoring 24 points and 34.5 fantasy points in his 25 minutes. He made 12 of his 15 shots, and he’ll look to stay hot tonight against the Bucks. He’s risky due to his recent return from injury, but he has great upside for this price. ∗∗
Alex Len-Phoenix Suns (6,000): Len and the Suns host Washington who has struggled to defend opposing PF for much of the season. Len will probably be matched up against former-teammate Markieff Morris tonight as he goes for his third straight double-double. Len had a big game in Milwaukee on Wednesday finishing with 47.75 fantasy points on 17 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks. Len isn’t a lock since he’s been up-and-down lately, but in a good matchup at home I like him to produce a solid stat line. ∗∗∗
