High Value SF

Otto Porter-Washington Wizards (5,500): The Wizards are a good team to load up on due to their matchup (Phoenix) and their desperation to win to stay in the playoff chase. That’s the reason that Porter is the third Washington starter in my FnaDuel daily picks for tonight.  Porter has at least 23 fantasy points in nine of his last ten games and has been able to produce 26+ in three of his last four. He had 20 points and four assists against the Kings on Wednesday and is in another good matchup to produce good numbers across the board against the Suns. ∗∗∗

Marcus Morris-Detroit Pistons (5,300): Morris has played well coming down the stretch wth over 25 fantasy points in each of his last five games and putting up 37.75 fantasy points on Tuesday in the Pistons’ big win over the Thunder.  Morris clearly fits in to Stan Van Gundy’s system well and is finishing his best NBA season in his first year in Detroit.  Tonight, Morris and the Pistons face the injury-depleted Mavericks in a game they will look to win to stay in the seventh-spot in the Eastern Conference. ∗∗

Jae Crowder-Boston Celtics (5,300): Crowder returned to the C’s starting lineup last night in Portland and played a solid 35 minutes scoring 13 points to go with ten rebounds, two assists, and two steals. He finished with 34.5 fantasy points, and he reportedly has no minutes restrictions going forward.  He hopes to play tonight against Golden State, and if he starts and gets his regular minutes he’ll be a solid bargain although he is risky since he’s probably still less than 100%.

Harrison Barnes-Golden State Warriors (4,300): As the Warriors chase history, Barnes is stepping up his game and has scored at least ten points in each of his last five games while averaging 12.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.  He should get plenty of playing time again tonight against the Celtics after playing 42 minutes in Utah and finishing with a double-double to get to 32.25 fantasy points. He’s a solid play from the mid-4K range even though he’s the fourth scoring option on his own team.

Justin Anderson-Dallas Mavericks (3,200): With Chandler Parsons and Deron Williams both injure and the Mavericks having to figure out new rotations, Justin Anderson has suddenly emerged as a legitimate sleeper.  He has at least 16 fantasy points in each of his last four games after playing 21+ minutes in each of those contests.  He played 29 minutes in the Mavs’ most recent game on Wednesday and totaled 24.75 fantasy points on seven points and nine boards.  He is still a little high-risk since his role could still shift from game to game, but he has been remarkably productive while also staying off most DFS players radars.
