FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-April 1
High Value SG
Brad Beal-Washington Wizards (5,900): Beal played both halves of the Wizards back-to-back earlier this week and played over 30 minutes in each game showing both that he’s physically doing better and that the Wizards are pretty desperate to push to the playoffs. Beal had 33.8 fantasy points on Wednesday against the Kings on 24 points, four boards, and four assists. He’ll look to keep things rolling tonight in a great matchup against the Suns. He has the most upside of any SG under 7.5K tonight and should again be ready for heavy minutes. ∗∗∗∗
Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (5,300): Hood has rediscovered his scoring touch in his last two games with a total of 50 points against the Warriors and Lakers. Hood has at least 24 fantasy points in three straight games and is playing very well as the Jazz make their push for playoff position. Hood should be in a place to succeed at home tonight against the T-Wolves who he had 15 points, four rebounds, and four assists against last week. Hood is still a streaky shooter, but he should be in a productive matchup tonight. ∗∗∗
Courtney Lee-Charlotte Hornets (4,300): Lee has been a big pickup for the Hornets who acquired him at the trading deadline and put him right into their starting lineup. He has at least 21 fantasy points in five of his last six games and posted a very solid 29.7 fantasy points in 37 minutes on Wednesday against the 76ers. He scored 15 points to go with three assists, six rebounds, and two steals in that contest, and he’ll look to have a similar production tonight as he faces the 76ers agin in the second game of their home-and-home set. Jeremy Lin’s status for tonight is unknown, but if he sits again Lee should get all the minutes at SG for the second game in a row. With Lin-∗∗ No Lin-∗∗∗
Tim Hardaway Jr.-Atlanta Hawks (3,600): There are a number of players with upside who cost under 4K tonight including Devin Harris, Seth Curry, and Sean Kilpatrick. However, the option that I’d feel most comfortable with tonight is Hardaway who had 15 points and 21.1 fantasy points on Wednesday against the Raptors. Tonight, the Hawks face the Cavs in the 8:00 ESPN game, and I expect Hardaway to again get plenty of run for the Hawks as “instant offense” off the bench.
