No. 5 – Philadelphia Sixers

While the Bulls have been the most disappointing team this season, the Sixers have been the most disappointing team since Allen Iverson left years ago. It seems that no matter what they do in the NBA Draft, the Sixers are still a team that could consistently be beaten by the top teams in college basketball year after year.

The one advantage that the Sixers have is they so much young talent that is being wasted away in the City of Brotherly Love that the Bulls would have their pick of whoever they wanted in a trade for Butler. From Jahlil Okafor to Joel Embiid, Chicago can name their price, and the Sixers could likely match it (including draft picks they have gotten from other teams).

From Butler’s perspective, it would be the worst thing in the world going from being the best player on a team in the playoff hunt (but needing help to get in) to a team that will be picking in the top three for years to come with continued lack of success on the court. A move like this could force him to shut down inside and be even worse than he has been of late.
