High Value C

Ian Mahinmi-Indiana Pacers (4,900): When he’s been healthy this season, Mahinmi has been a solid option in the middle for the Pacers and a nice value play for fantasy owners at right around 5K for most of the season.  He had three straight games with at least 30 fantasy points before totaling just 23.75 fantasy points on Thursday against Orlando on six points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  He should be able to bounce back tonight against the 76ers front line which has been crushed by injury leaving them no one to man the middle and slow the Pacers big men down tonight in Philadelphia.

Jonas Valanciunas-Toronto Raptors (4,800): Valanciunas had a huge game last night against the Grizzlies going for 50 fantasy points on 11 points, 14 boards, and seven blocks.  He has at least 32 fantasy points in four of his last five and is a great value at under 5K.  The only downside to “Big V” tonight is that he’s in a brutal matchup against the Spurs who defend opposing centers very well especially on their home floor where they’ll face Valanciunas tonight.∗∗

Kosta Koufos-Sacramento Kings (4,300): Koufos was solid again last night while playing for the suspended DeMarcus Cousins.  He had 29.25 fantasy points against the Heat and has at least 20 fantasy points in four of his last five games.  He’ll be in a good matchup in Denver tonight, so look at Koufos if you spend big everywhere else and go cheap at center.  He has a very good chance at returning full value if he gets another start tonight as expected.∗∗
