DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-April 2
High Value SG
Gary Harris-Denver Nuggets (4,200): Harris has had a solid year for the Nuggets and put together a solid month of March with his best scoring of the month thanks to his increased workload with Danilo Gallinari sidelined. Harris averaged 14.6 points per game for March while adding 2.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game as well. He’ll be in a good matchup tonight against the Kings who allow the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG, so Harris is definitely worth a look given his playing time and recent run of production for Denver. ∗∗∗
Josh Richardson-Miami Heat (4,200): I’m sure many owners scrambled to get Richardson into their lineups when it became apparent Dwyane Wade was going to be out, but it was Gerald Green that stepped up the scoring instead of Richardson last night. Tonight, Green should again get plenty of minutes with all the injuries for Miami. He has played at least 28 minutes in each of his last five games and in seven of his last nine. He has at least 24 fantasy points in five of those nine contests but put up a disappointing 13.75 fantasy points last night. He could get the start tonight or just see extra playing time off the bench, and he does have some nice upside despite a couple of rough games on the West Coast trip so far. He has more upside than Harris, but he’s also a much riskier pick.∗∗
Danny Green-San Antonio Spurs (3,700): It’s tricky to count on any Spurs coming down the stretch with coach Greg Popovich doing his usual rest and recovery routine before the playoffs. Green is very under-priced, though, coming in to tonight’s matchup with the Raptors. Green has at least 23 fantasy points in four of his last seven games and only needed 18 minutes to get to 28.5 fantasy points against the Pelicans in his last game. The Spurs would love to get his shot dropping headed into the playoffs, and since I think he’ll get regular time in tonight’s contest he’s a solid play to consider if you decide to go cheap. ∗∗
Gerald Green-Miami Heat (3,000): Green came out of nowhere and dropped 30 points in 33 minutes against the Kings last night. Green finished with a crazy 43.75 fantasy points and will look to continue his hot streak tonight in Denver. I am not totally in on Green since he has been so unpredictable from game to game, but if he draws another start tonight in Portland he’ll be a popular pick with lots of upside. ∗∗
