High Salary PF

LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (7,500): Aldridge has the most upside of any PF on the board tonight by a wide margin, but he plays for the Spurs and the season is winding down meaning the possibility of getting “Popped” is a very real concern. Aldridge had a pair of monster games against the Grizzlies with 32 points and 12 rebounds on March 25 for 59.5 fantasy points and 31 points and 13 rebounds to total 56.75 fantasy points in his next game which came last Monday.  On Wednesday, he had a quieter game against the Pelicans with just 24 fantasy points on 11 points and six rebounds in the Spurs’ blowout win.  He definitely could dominate the Raptors tonight like he did the Grizz, but he’s risky since you can never be sure how much he’ll play even though the Spurs will be playing at home tonight looking to avoid the fate of Golden State last night.

Kenneth Faried-Denver Nuggets (5,900): Faried posted a double-double on Thursday with ten points and 12 boards in his 25 minutes against the Pelicans for a nice 33 fantasy points. Faried’s minutes are still limited due to his many injuries, but he’s shown signs of returning to “Manimal” form and will get a great matchup to do just that as he takes on the Kings tonight. He’s high-risk with his minute still limited, but he does have plenty of upside to like.

Nikola Mirotic-Chicago Bulls (5,200): Taj Gibson is expected to return tonight which takes a bit of the shine off of Miroric’s matchup with the Pistons, but given the forward’s recent production he should still get plenty of playing time.  Mirotic scored 28 points for the second game in a row on Thursday in Houston finishing with 41.5 fantasy points. He has three games with at least that many in his last six contests, but he has finished under 17 fantasy points in his other three games. He’s totally a boom-or-bust play tonight, but his upside is huge for someone priced under 6K.
