FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-April 2
High Value PF
Kenneth Faried-Denver Nuggets (5,700): Faried posted a double-double on Thursday with ten points and 12 boards in his 25 minutes against the Pelicans for a nice 30.4 fantasy points. Faried’s minutes are still limited due to his many injuries, but he’s shown signs of returning to “Manimal” form and will get a great matchup to do just that as he takes on the Kings tonight. He’s high-risk with his minute still limited, but he does have plenty of upside to like. ∗∗
Myles Turner-Indiana Pacers (5,400): Turner’s recent form hasn’t been great and his playing time has fluctuated some depending on matchup, but he’s in a great matchup tonight as the Pacers play the 76ers who are seriously depleted up front. Turner had 26.7 fantasy points against Phily when he faced them a couple weeks ago and could easily get that kind of production again if he gets 25+ minutes of playing time like he did in that game. His playing time and role makes him high-risk, but he could be a great investment if he goes off. ∗∗
Carl Landry-Philadelphia 76ers (4,800): Landry bounced back from a disappointing game against Charlotte on Tuesday by scoring 16 points to go with eight rebounds and four assists for a total of 31.6 fantasy points against the Hornets in the second game of their home-and-home. With the Sixers still paper-thin up front, Landry should get good minutes again tonight. He has at least 25 fantasy points in four of his last seven games, and he’ll likely get 20-25 minutes again tonight giving him the chance to produce similar totals once again. ∗∗∗
Darrell Arthur-Denver Nuggets (4,100): Another cheap PF who will get minutes and have his chances to produce is the Nuggets’ Darrell Arthur. Arthur is coming off two of his better games of the season including his 24-point, nine-rebound game on Thursday against the Pelicans when he finished with 37.3 fantasy points. He has at least 24 fantasy points in four of his last eight games although he does put up some pretty big burns in games where he struggles. Arthur is a boom-or-bust pick against the Kings tonight with a chance to go off or disappear depending on how he and Kenneth Faried split the time at PF. ∗∗
