DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy hockey lineup April 3
High Salary Wings
Jamie Benn – Dallas Stars ($8,000): Benn has been doing an unbelievable job as of late, especially when you consider that he has had to step up his game with the absence of Tyler Seguin. He has eight points in seven games without Seguin. Over his last 10 games, Benn has 13 points. He plays the Ducks on the road tonight, where he has 38 points in 41 games this season. The Stars captain averages 4.6 fantasy hockey points per game.
Phil Kessel – Pittsburgh Penguins ($6,800): Kessel has been playing extremely well for the Penguins lately. Phil “The Thrill” Kessel has 10 points in his last five games, including three multi-point efforts. He has two goals in two games against the Flyers this season. Kessel plays at home tonight where he has 30 points in 40 games. The Penguins wing averages 3.5 fantasy points per game (including five per game over his last 10 games).
Zach Parise – Minnesota Wild ($7,200): Parise has been light the lamp a lot as of late with six goals in his last five games, including a hat trick. He’ll lead the Wild as they square off against the Jets on the road, where Parise has 27 points in 33 games. Over his last 10 games, Parise has six goals, five assists, and 11 points. He averages 3.8 fantasy hockey points per game (including 5.3 per game over his last 10 games).
High Value Wings
Troy Brouwer – St. Louis Blues ($4,200): Brouwer has been red hot for the Blues recently with three multi-point games in his last 10 outings. He also has at least one point in five of his last six games, adding blocked shots as well. Over his last 10 games, Brouwer has 10 points, eight hits, and 20 shots on goal. He averages 2.3 fantasy points per game (including 3.7 per game over his last 10 games).
Jamie McGinn – Anaheim Ducks ($4,500): McGinn has been a great addition to the Ducks. He’s been playing extremely well as of late and has been that big body that the Ducks have needed on their power play. McGinn has six goals, three assists, nine points, and 28 shots on goal over his last 10 games. Look for him to do well tonight against the Stars. He averages 2.4 fantasy hockey points per game (including 3.9 per game over his last 10 games).
Lee Stempniak – Boston Bruins ($4,200): With a point in each of his last two games, Stempniak could be a great bargain today as the struggling Bruins take on the struggling Blackhawks. The Hawks will be sans Duncan Keith today so that’s beneficial to Stempniak. He averages 2.6 fantasy hockey points per game.
