High Value PG

Elfrid Payton-Orlando Magic (5,800): If you’re spending under 6K at PG tonight, the top name to look for is Elfrid Payton who has picks things up lately for Orlando and produces across the stat sheet with solid numbers.  He has at least 27 fantasy points in five of his last six games dating back to his triple-double against the Pistons when he totaled 48 fantasy points in just 34 minutes.  He has given up some of his responsibility on the offensive end to the surging Victor Oladipo, but Payton is still involved enough to be a solid buy at under 6K.

Marcus Smart-Boston Celtics (4,300): Smart has only managed to score in double digits in two of his last nine games as he has struggled mightily with his shot.  However, he’s still being disruptive on the defensive end and adding solid non-scoring numbers.  He has been able to reach 20 fantasy points in each of his last four games including Friday’s win at Golden State when he had seven points, six assists, four rebounds, and a steal in 28 minutes.  He is in a great matchup against a Lakers’ backcourt struggling defensively, so look for Smart to be a cheap flier with upside as he takes on LA tonight.

Tyler Ennis-Milwaukee Bucks (3,800): Ennis played 26 minutes on Friday for the Bucks and totaled 20.9 fantasy points with 15 points as he scored in double-digits for the second game in a row.  Ennis isn’t really running the point much when he’s in the game as evidenced by just one assist in his last two games, but he is getting enough run to be a cheap option to consider as the Bucks host the Bulls who will likely be without Derrick Rose again tonight.

Jordan Farmar-Memphis Grizzlies (3,600): The cheapest play at PG that I’d give a look tonight is Jordan Farmar who is with the Grizz for the rest of the season to help fill in their injury-riddled backcourt.  Farmer has at least 22 fantasy points in three of his last four games and is playing over 20 minutes a night since joining Memphis six games ago.  Farmar has at least eight points in each of those games and enough non-scoring numbers to make him the cheap option with the most upside as he faces Orlando tonight.
