High Value SF

Jae Crowder-Boston Celtics (5,900): The Celtics pulled of their win in Golden State without Crowder who rested after returning on Thursday against the Blazers.  After missing a few weeks with a high ankle sprain, Crowder looked good in Portland scoring 13 points to go with ten boards to total 31 fantasy points in 35 minutes.  Tonight, he’ll be back in action against the Lakers who give up the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF. He is a little risky with he recent return from injury, but he should get plenty of minutes to “knock the rust off” as he and the C’s try to improve their playoff seed by not slipping up in LA tonight.

Nikola Mirotic-Chicago Bulls (5,300): Mirotic’s boom-or-bust pattern continued last night with a bad “bust” against the Pistons.  In his 24 minutes, Mirotic only managed eight fantasy points on six points and a block.  In his previous two games, Mirotic had 38.3 fantasy points and 41 fantasy points while scoring 28 points in each contest.  He’ll look to bounce back tonight in Milwaukee, and the Bulls could really use his offensive start tonight against the Bucks. Mirotic is high-risk, high-reward in tonight’s matchup.

Harrison Barnes-Golden State Warriors (4,800): Barnes has been trending the right way for the Warriors as the season comes to a close.  He has at least 28 fantasy points in each of his last three contests and had 30.6 fantasy points against Boston on Friday with 14 points, eight boards, and four assists in his 35 minutes.  With Andre Iguodala still sidelined tonight, Barnes will get a ton of playing time against the Blazers and makes a nice play under 5K.  He doesn’t have the upside of Mirotic or Crowder, but he is a cheaper option who should put up good fantasy points tonight against the Blazers.

Maurice Harkless-Portland Trail Blazers (4,100): On the other side of the Western Conference matchup, Maurice Harkless continues to get plenty of playing time for the Blazers as part of their starting lineup at PF next to Al-Farouq Aminu.  Harkless had 14 points and four rebounds in 32 minutes last night against Miami to total 24.3 fantasy points. He has at least 22 fantasy points in five of his six games since joining the starting lineup and should fare well in a high-scoring small ball centered game in Oakland tonight .∗∗
