With the Browns’ third-round pick, the team should draft Kamalei Correa, the defensive end from Boise State. Correa is a sturdy player that hails from the same school that produced the Dallas Cowboys stud Demarcus Lawrence.

Correa possesses good vision and has the ability to quickly chase down ball-carriers. Not many players come into the NFL with the ability to quickly process what they see and turn their visions into positive results, but that’s exactly what Correa can do. Additionally, over the past two seasons at Boise State he racked up 19 sacks and five forced fumbles.

The reason Correa is being considered a third round talent is because he lacks top-tier pass rushing moves. Often times he relies on his hands to win him battles at the line of scrimmage and fails to engage his full body’s worth of strength. At this point, Correa could definitely use some work in a weight room to add bulk to help him win battles in the NFL.

Overall, Correa is a valuable asset that the Browns would love to be able to draft. While he did primarily play defensive end in college, it would be expected that if he was drafted by the Browns he would switch to a 3-4 outside linebacker, which is a position of weakness for the team.
