With the team’s second fourth round pick, the Browns should select Cardale Jones from in-state Ohio State University. The Browns have had recent troubles with drafting first round quarterbacks, and should wait to draft Jones.

Last season, Jones was the talk of the nation. Jones took his Ohio State team under his wing after he was thrust into the starting job. He won his only three games he played in and was a critical part of Ohio State’s National Championship.

Despite winning a National Championship last season, this season Cardale Jones benched after seven games. In the ten games that he appeared in (over two seasons) he displayed an amazingly strong arm and good accuracy. However, he struggled with making progressions and his footwork was sloppy.

Most of Jones’ issues can be stemmed from not receiving a lot of first team work. Thus, NFL GM’s are excited by Jones’ potential. While Jones is loaded with superstar potential, he comes with a lot of baggage also. It is this baggage that will make him fall to the fourth round.
