High Salary PG

Stephen Curry-Golden State Warriors (10,400): As expected, Curry bounced back in a big way on Sunday after the Warriors dropped their game against Boston on Friday.  Curry totaled 58.7 fantasy points against the Blazers on 39 points, seven assists, six rebounds, and two steals in just 35 minutes as he led a huge offensive display by the Champions to avoid losing back-to-back games.  He is an expensive pickup for tonight against the Timberwolves, but he has averaged 32.5 points, 7.5 assists, six rebounds, and 2.5 steals in his two games against Minnesota and posted 46.9 fantasy points against them a couple weeks ago. The T-Wolves have allowed the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG, so if you have the money to spend at PG tonight, take a long look at the MVP tonight as he takes on Minnesota.

Kemba Walker-Charlotte Hornets (8,100): Walker had exploded out of a shooting slump with 27 and 29 points in his last two games resulting in 46.2 fantasy points against the Sixers and 52.7 fantasy points against the Cavs. Walker could be in for a heavy workload tonight against the Raptors if Charlotte is without Nicolas Batum and/or Al Jefferson (both questionable). Walker has had a huge season, and he’ll lead the Hornets into the the playoffs in a couple weeks. No Batum/Jefferson-∗ With Batum/Jefferson-

Damian Lillard-Portland Trail Blazers (8,000): Lillard couldn’t quite carry the Blazers past the Warriors again on Friday despite virtually matching Steph shot-for-shot.  Lillard totaled 38 points and 47.6 fantasy points in that game on Friday after being held under 20 points and under 30 fantasy points in each of his previous three contests.  Lillard has averaged a double-double against the Kings this season, but he only had 27.7 fantasy points last week when he faced them. The Kings do allow the fifth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG, so if the game is closer tonight than their previous meeting Lillard should be able to get more fantasy production.

Jeff Teague-Atlanta Hawks (6,900): Teague has at least 34 fantasy points in three of his last four games and is helping the Hawks make a push for homecourt advantage.  Teague had 52.3 fantasy points against the Cavs on Friday in Atlanta’s last game and should be well-rested as he and the Hawks host the Suns tonight.  Phoenix has allowed the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG this season and won’t have Brandon Knight the rest of the way which should leave plenty of room for Teague to continue to build his momentum headed for the playoffs.

Ricky Rubio-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,900): Rubio has had fewer than 20 fantasy points in two of his last three games, but he has at least 30 fantasy points in six of his last eight as well.  He posted 45.3 fantasy points against the Warriors when Golden State visited Minnesota two weeks ago, and he will look to get back to that level after a few down games.∗∗

Shelvin Mack-Utah Jazz (6,000): Mack and the Jazz take on the Spurs (or some version of them) tonight in Utah in what could be a first-round preview.  Mack has been solid lately for Utah with at least 26 fantasy points in four straight contests.  He is providing solid production in multiple categories and getting plenty of run which should result in another solid line tonight especially if the Spurs rest their stars and loosen their defense a bit as a result. He’s pretty low-risk since he has been getting such consistent work, but he also doesn’t have the sky-high ceiling that Rubio or the more elite options offer.
