High Value PG

Emmanuel Mudiay-Denver Nuggets (5,600): Mudiay has at least 23 fantasy points in four straight games, and he’s in a great position tonight as the Nuggets host the Thunder. The Thunder have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG this season and it’s likely (though not confirmed) that Russell Westbrook will sit out on of the Thunder’s back-to-back games starting tonight.  Muddy has been much better at home than on the road this year, so the fact that the game is in Denver is another reason to give him a look at his 5.6K price tag tonight.

D’Angelo Russell-Los Angeles Lakers (5,400): It looks like the Lakers are going to sit Lou Williams the rest of the season and give the young guards all the playing time they can handle meaning lots of work for Russell and Jordan Clarkson.  Russell has played over 35 minutes in each of his last two games finishing with 23.3 fantasy points and 21.8 fantasy points. He had a balanced line against Boston on Sunday with eight points, nine boards, and six assists, but he also had six turnovers and struggled shooting the ball.  He’ll be the focus of the Lakers attack again tonight against the Clippers in the late game.

Tim Frazier-New Orleans Pelicans (5,000): Former-Blazer Tim Frazier has stepped up in a big way for the Pelicans and had  monster game on Sunday in Brooklyn totaling 46.9 fantasy points on 19 points and 13 assists.  He has at least 33 fantasy points in each of his last two games and at least 22 fantasy points in seven of his last ten.  Frazier will continue to get plenty of time on the court for the injury-depleted Pelicans who gave him 37 minutes against the Nets.  Tonight, he’s in another good matchup as well with the Pelicans heading to Phily to take on the lowly 76ers. ∗∗

Austin Rivers-Los Angeles Clippers (3,900): Rivers will be an uber-popular pick if and when Chris Paul rests coming down the stretch for the Clippers. When he got the start in place of CP3 last Thursday, Rivers dropped 32 points on the Thunder and added enough peripheral stats to get to 46.3 fantasy points. Rivers followed that up with a strong game coming off the bench with 24.8 fantasy points in just 18 minutes on Sunday against the Wizards.  Tonight, even if Paul and the others Clippers’ stars play, Rivers should get enough action against the worst defensive backcourt in the league to take it to the Lakers.  He’s a risky flier if Paul is active but he has at least 23 fantasy points in four of his last seven overall. With Paul-∗ No Paul-

Tyler Ennis-Milwaukee Bucks (3,900): Ennis doesn’t have the upside of Rivers, but he is a more solid pick unless Rivers has a clear path to minutes.  The former Syracuse guard has played at least 23 minutes in each of his last four games while helping to fill in for the injured Jerryd Bayless.  Bayless is doubtful again tonight, so Ennis has a good shot of posting over 20 fantasy points for the fourth time in his last five games.

Jordan Farmar-Memphis Grizzlies (3,500): The Grizz didn’t resign Ray McCallum, but they did decide Farmar was worth a contract for the rest of the season.  He had 22+ fantasy points in three of four games before playing just 14 minutes in the Grizzlies loss in Orlando on Sunday. He should be back to his normal workload around 25 minutes tonight against the Bulls in a matchup he can attack.  He’s a decent play since he is starting, but he doesn’t have a huge upside.
