The Masters 2016: TV schedule

Check out the 2016 Masters TV schedule with coverage coming on ESPN, CBS and Masters.com.

The Masters is one of the most coveted events in sports. A tournament full of events jam-packed with history. This year’s Masters is no exception and this tournament will be covered a high level, as usual. Each day, including the practice round days, will have a range of coverage.

Starting on Monday, the Masters tournament will kick off its coverage with live range coverage throughout the day. The coverage, titled-‘Masters-On The Range’ will run from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. EST. CBS Sports Network will be hosting TV coverage of the range during the same time slot.

Tuesday follows the same schedule as Monday, with the Masters.com coverage starting at 9:00 AM and running to 11:00 AM EST. the CBS Sports Network coverage runs over the range, the same as Monday, with the coverage beginning an hour earlier at 11:00 AM EST.

Wednesday, the day with the Masters Par 3 contest, will begin at 9:00 a.m. EST with On The Rang coverage. CBS Sports Network will have the coverage on TV. ESPN is covering the Par 3 contest from 3:00-5:00 p.m. EST.

Thursday, the start of the tournament, will have coverage beginning at 9:15 a.m.-7:30 p.m. EST on the Masters webpage, with coverage of Amen Corner, the range and holes 15 and 16 running throughout the day. ESPN brings the TV coverage beginning at 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Friday follows the same coverage schedule as Thursday.

Saturday’s coverage of the tournament will begin at 10:15AM on the Masters website, with coverage of range, Amen Corner, 15 and 16, running through the day. CBS brings the TV coverage from 3:00-7:30 p.m. EST.

Sunday will begin with the 10:15 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. coverage on the Masters website with the featured groups kicking things off, while following the same arc as the previous weekend schedule. CBS brings the TV coverage starting at 2:00 PM-7:00PM. With the Green Jacket Ceremony beginning at 7:00 p.m.

This year’s Masters does bring something new: Both 4k and virtual reality live streaming. Amen Corner will bring the 4k coverage to life all week-long, with Thursday and Friday running from 10:45 a.m.-6:00 p.m. EST, and 11:45 a.m.-6:00 p.m. EST Saturday and Sunday. The virtual reality live stream will be hosted on holes 6 and 16 throughout the week. The virtual reality cameras will be placed on the tee boxes and greens of each hole. This virtual stream will be on the Oculus Rift through an app on the Oculus Home app store.
