High Value PG

D’Angelo Russell-Los Angeles Lakers (5,000): Russell played 34 minutes last night against the Clippers and looks like he’ll get a bump in playing time over the last few weeks of the season.  He struggled last night, though, with just a single assist to go with 12 points and three rebounds on his way to 18.75 fantasy points. If the Clippers rest Chiris Paul or play him only limited minutes, Russell should find a little bit better results tonight.  He’s definitely worth a look based on his promise and his potential playing time, but he still seems a bit out of sync with his teammates.

Tim Frazier-New Orleans Pelicans (4,600): Frazier started against the Sixers last night and had 38.5 fantasy points on 12 points, nine assists, three steals, and six boards.  He has at least 35 fantasy points in each of his last three games and will get all the playing time he can handle again in Boston tonight.  Fatigue may be a factor for Frazier coming down the stretch, but he’s making the most of the minutes he’s getting in the injury-depleted Pelicans’ backcourt.∗∗∗∗

Shane Larkin-Brooklyn Nets (4,300): Larkin has played well since moving back into the starting lineup and has at least 23 fantasy points in six of his last seven games.  He had nine assists against the Pelicans on Sunday adding six points for 37.5 fantasy points in his 33 minutes.  The Wizards defense isn’t great, so Larkin should find room to attack again tonight as he tries to fill in for Jarrett Jack at the PG spot for Brooklyn.

Jeremy Lin-Charlotte Hornets (4,100): Lin slid into the starting lineup last night for the injured Nicolas Batum and played 40 minutes against the Raptors.  Lin totaled 39 fantasy points on 21 points, seven assists, and four rebounds.  He has at least 25 fantasy points in five of his last seven games, and he’ll be back at Madison Square Garden tonight where “Linsanity” all got started.  If Batum is out again tonight, Lin is almost sure to go off, but I like him even coming off the bench against his former team in front of fans that enjoyed cheering for him so much just a few years ago.
